Terms & Conditions
Oklahoma Online Teen Driver Education
2 Cool 4 Driving School; hereafter referred to as the "COURSE PROVIDER", is certified by the SERVICE OKLAHOMA to offer an Oklahoma online Teen Driver Education course, hereafter referred to as the "COURSE".
Acceptance of Contract Terms
The following are the terms of a legal agreement between you, hereafter referred to as the "STUDENT," the student's parent or guardian, hereinafter referred to as the "PARENT," and the COURSE PROVIDER. By accessing, using, and/or browsing this site, the STUDENT and PARENT acknowledge that THEY have read, have understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement:
Course Tuition
The course tuition in the amount of $69.00 will be charged to the STUDENT. This fee includes all required instructional materials and must be paid in full prior to course completion.
Eligibility
To take the course, the STUDENT must be at least 15 years of age.
Course Schedule
Students are required to complete 30 hours of classroom training and 55 hours of actual behind the wheel training. It is recommended that behind the wheel instruction includes a variety of driving conditions, i.e., nighttime, daytime, rain, fog, etc.
The COURSE is composed of 30 hours of instruction, divided into 15 modules of two hours each. The STUDENT must complete a minimum of 30 hours of instruction and spend the minimum time required to participate in each section of the course. If a STUDENT reaches the end of a module without having spent the minimum time required for that section, the STUDENT shall be required to review modules HE/SHE has already completed until the full two-hour period has elapsed. The STUDENT may participate in the COURSE for a maximum of 3 hours per day.
The COURSE will be available to the STUDENT online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This availability may be affected by circumstances over which the COURSE PROVIDER has no control, such as, but not limited to, system, site, or connectivity failure.
Grading and Progress Policy
At the end of each section, the STUDENT shall be required to successfully pass a content comprehension quiz, hereafter referred to as "SECTION QUIZ." Each SECTION QUIZ shall consist of 20 or 25 questions. The STUDENT shall be given one opportunity to complete each SECTION QUIZ, and must achieve 80% or better to move to the next section of the course.
Moreover, the STUDENT must complete a final examination at the end of the COURSE, which shall consist of 50 questions and the student may only miss 10 questions of the final. The score the STUDENT receives on the final examination shall represent 100% of the COURSE GRADE. Before taking the final examination, the STUDENT shall be given the opportunity to complete a practice examination an unlimited number of times.
Once the STUDENT has completed and submitted HIS/HER final examination, the COURSE GRADE shall be calculated. The STUDENT agrees that HE/SHE may not receive credit for the course unless HE/SHE has not missed more than 10 questions of the Final Exam. In the event that the student misses more than 10 questions, HE/SHE may take the final examination up to two (2) additional times to achieve 40 correct questions. After a third failure, the STUDENT has failed the COURSE and HE/SHE must start the COURSE over from the beginning.
Alternative testing techniques for students with reading, hearing, or learning handicaps and policies for re-testing students who score less than 40 correct questions will be a) online review of course material; and b) online re-testing.
Certificate of Enrollment
The STUDENT must present, to Service Oklahoma, the approved “Parent Taught Driver Education Affidavit” and a receipt showing payment for the provider’s course. The STUDENT must be at least 15 ½ years of age.
Certificate of Completion
The STUDENT agrees to complete all instructional sections of the curriculum in order to receive a completion certificate. This includes submitting the 55-hour behind the wheel log which is to be submitted to the COURSE PROVIDER through the online account. The COURSE PROVIDER will only notify of course completion if a STUDENT has met all the requirements for course completion and has paid all tuition and fee payments in full to the COURSE PROVIDER.
After the STUDENT has completed the COURSE and has correctly answered 40 or better final test questions, a Certificate of Completion will be issued. An electronic version of the Certificate of Completion will be made available to the STUDENT by the COURSE PROVIDER via the course dashboard. To view this document, the STUDENT must have Adobe Acrobat installed on HIS/HER system. The STUDENT must bring a printed version of the Certificate of Completion to a SERVICE OKLAHOMA license branch to obtain a license.
