Parents must first obtain the Parent-Taught Driver Education booklet to begin the course. This booklet must be obtained, and an affidavit must be submitted and accepted before commencing behind-the-wheel training. The packet can be obtained in four ways:
Our course comprises 30 engaging classroom training and 55 hours of practical behind-the-wheel training.
The course includes 12 comprehensive modules, each followed by a quiz. Additionally, there are 11 behind-the-wheel modules with detailed teaching techniques for parents to use during training.
To pass the course, you must achieve a score of 70% or higher on the module quizzes. You have unlimited attempts to pass each quiz. Additionally, you must pass the final exam with a score of 70% or higher, with three attempts allowed.
If you do not pass the course or exceed the allotted number of final exam attempts, you may re-register and start the course again.
You will have 180 days to complete the course before it expires.
Upon completing the course, you can download your completion certificate.
